1927-1977
Parish, NY
Lake Coan
The land that Camp 12 Pines stood on was part of the Charles Crim Farm located in Parish, New York. The first summer camp was held in 1927. The camp was so named because of the large pines that stood on the property. However, in 1950, a hurricane blew down many of these pines. With the Merger of the Oswego County Council and the Onondaga Council in 1969, the camp was no longer needed and was subsequently sold. The last summer camp was held in 1977.
